Welcome from our Headteacher
Happy New Year to all our families and the Community of Chapel Break Infant School. We are so pleased to be welcoming our children back to school for new challenges and exciting experiences. The term started with a virtual visit from our 'Great Fire of London' experts and our children are already showing great knowledge of where and how the fire started and why it spread so easily.
Chapel Break Infant School is an exciting place to be. When you visit us, you will feel it as soon as you walk in the door! We offer all our children the opportunity to dream big and develop a true love for learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Chapel Break Curiosity Curriculum is special. It offers unique experiences that support every child in reaching their true potential and has resulted in outstanding outcomes. Our Curriculum is knowledge rich and ambitious and encourages our children's curiosity and creativity in every subject. We also believe in the importance of developing the skills our children will need to succeed in later life and promote and encourage these with our Chapel Break Bees (more information can be found on this website).
At the heart of our curriculum are our 4 values
We are Kind
We are Curious
We are a Community
We Aim for Excellence
We promote these values every day in our classrooms and celebrate them weekly in assemblies and on our weekly newsletter.
It is our belief that our children’s mental health and wellbeing must always be our priority and we are currently embedding the Thrive approach across the school to support the whole school’s social and emotional development.
We have a number of very special learning environments at Chapel Break, which all children will access regularly and enrich their learning experience.

Here, children will build a knowledge and experience of the visual arts beyond those that can be offered within the usual classroom setting. The learning consists of the development of a range of skills, including speaking and listening, debate and discussion, a variety of thinking skills, social skills, independence of thought and action and persistence.
Our outdoor classroom, the copse area, our allotment and our outdoor classroom, provide further opportunities to enrich our curriculum. Our Forest School Practitioner leads the outdoor learning and we have found it to be a
We hope to work with you in partnership, to ensure that we provide the best possible education for your children. We also have strong links with the community and are once again looking forward to arranging visits out and inviting visitors into school.
I hope you feel inspired to come and visit our school and meet our wonderful children. If you have any questions, please call the school office or email me at head@chapelbreakinfant.norfolk.sch.uk
